IptvBox Player ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of our users. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our Android TV and mobile application (the "App") and our website (iptvbox-player.com).

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide and improve the App's functionalities. The data collected is grouped as follows:

• Google Account Information: When you choose to use the "Cloud Sync" feature, you sign in with your Google account. We receive and store your Google ID (unique subject claim), email address, and display name. We use this information solely to identify your backup profile. We do NOT access your Google Drive files, photos, or other personal Google services.
• IPTV Playlists and Configuration: If you use the Cloud Sync feature, the App uploads your configured IPTV sources (such as Xtream Codes server URLs, usernames, passwords, Stalker portal URLs, Stalker MAC addresses, and M3U playlist URLs) to our secure server. This data is strictly used to synchronize your setup across your authorized devices.
• Technical and Device Data: For license verification, update checking, and support, the App sends a randomly generated installation UUID (which does not contain personal information like IMEI or MAC address), your device manufacturer/model, and the current App version. We also collect the device's IP address solely for rate-limiting, license checks, and geolocation statistics.
• Crash Logs: If the App encounters an unexpected error, a diagnostics log containing the stack trace and device model is sent to our support endpoint to help us debug and improve stability.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To verify your software license and eligibility for updates.
• To synchronize your IPTV profiles and custom categories across your devices (via Cloud Sync).
• To provide customer support and reply to messages sent from the App.
• To display anonymous regional usage statistics (country-level) on our administration panel.
• To identify and patch software crashes and bugs.

3. Data Protection and Encryption

We take data security very seriously. All communication between the App and our server is protected using HTTPS. All IPTV playlist credentials and settings stored on our servers for Cloud Sync are encrypted at rest using industry-standard **AES-256-GCM** encryption. This ensures that your passwords and Stalker MAC addresses are protected from unauthorized access on the server.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties. All authentication processes are managed directly with Google via Google Play Services / Credential Manager. Our server does not share token information or user profiles with any other entities.

5. Your Rights and Data Erasure

You have full control over your synced data. You can delete all your stored cloud profiles, playlists, and settings at any time directly from the App by navigating to **Settings → Cloud Account → Delete my cloud data**. Alternatively, you can request manual deletion of your records by contacting us at support@iptvbox-player.com.
